My name is Kathleen Lovanice. I am a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Regent University, and I am inviting mental health professionals to participate in my dissertation research.
This study examines how TCK-specific training and professional experience relate to self-efficacy in supporting Third Culture Kids (TCKs)(e.g., missionary kids) during adjustment and transition periods.
Participation is voluntary and involves a 10-15 minute online survey. Thank you for all you do for the TCK community.

TCKs: what was your university actually like?
I'm a TCK who built TCKHuman — university reviews written by people who grew up outside their passport country. Not rankings or admissions stats, just what the place actually felt like socially.
44 reviews across 40 universities so far. Most schools have one, which isn't enough to tell anyone anything yet.
If you went to university and grew up abroad, it takes about ninety seconds — or just see what other TCKs said about theirs. Free, no ads, nothing to sign up for.
Invitation to participate in TCK research study focused on understanding the acculturation and college experiences of third culture kids (TCKs) (i.e missionary kids, children of diplomats) who have recently returned to their home country for college. The insights gained from this study will be invaluable in helping student affairs professionals and university counseling centers support TCKs.
If you know of or identify as a TCK and are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, I invite you to share or participate in a brief 15- 20-minute online survey 📲💻.
Participation is completely voluntary and anonymous. Thank you for considering contributing to or sharing this research Supporting TCK College Student Repatriation Research Survey.
